The Snowy Plover (Charadrius nivosus) is a small shore bird often seen on beaches. It is found from Chile, where it winters, to the Pacific and Gulf Coasts of the United States. The birds found in California, Oregon, and Washington are listed as Federally Threatened. The original 11 x 14 inch gauche water color painting was inspired by birds photographed at Coal Oil Point in Santa Barbara. The art is available as a 4.25 x 5.5 inch note card and a 5 x 7 inch painting. Other sizes are available upon request.

Prints are on Canyon Infinity Arches Aquarelle rag paper and are shipped with a foam backing.
