The California gnatcatcher (Polioptila california) is a Federally listed bird found in coastal sage scrub of southwestern California. The Fred M. Roberts original is a 8 x 10 gouache painted during in 2014 and inspired by a family of gnatcatchers observed in coastal sage scrub at the Dana Point Headlands Preserve in the spring of that year. The art work is available as an 8 x 10 print, 5 x 7 print, or a 4.25 x 5.5 inch note card.
All prints are printed on archival fine arts paper and shipped with a foam board backing.
